BUSINESS OF THE EVENING To receive petitions, hear reports and transact such other business as may legally come before the Chapter.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS We will be collecting white socks for the Shriners in lieu of Christmas gift exchange. Also any knitted hats, mittens, blankets that were challenged by Sisters Deb Caldwell and Dotty Webb will also go to the Shirners.
BUS TRIPS In late winter a Casino Trip August a Diner Theater. Details to follow.

ELECTION This will be our last meeting before our Winter Recess, so please be thinking of our March election and how you will help as an officer.

FROM THE EAST Dear Sisters and Brothers. It is hard to believe that it is almost Christmas. Thanks to everyone for making the Snowflake Bazaar such a success. As we do not meet in January and February, our December meeting will be the last one until March. Let our Christmas reflect the true meaning of it. Acacia Chapter No. 80 Instituted January 28, 1902 Constituted January 28, 1903 Wilmington Acacia is the name of a flowering shrub common to South America and Australia. It belongs to the Pea Family and bears many seeds in a pod. It therefore symbolizes eternal and immortal life, It is said that he Ark of the Covenant in the old Testament was made of acacia wood overlaid with gold and that parts of the Tabernacle were also made of acacia.
