830th STATED MEETING Tuesday, December 20, 2011 7:30 P.M.
BUSINESS The Chapter will be open to hear reports, receive petitions, and transact such other business as may legally come before it.
OFFICERS ATTIRE Ladies may wear colored gowns , Christmas colors if have them Gentlemen: colored ties, cummerbund or vest.
LIGHT SUPPER 6:30 P.M. soup ( choice of tomato, chicken or clam chowder) and bread $3.00. Please call the Worthy Matron with your reservation
COLLATION AND COOLIE WALK The Star Points will be providing the collation after the December meeting. The Worthy Matron is hosting a cookie swap. Please bring 1-2 dozen cookies or other baked goods and a container to share with others and to bring some home for yourself.
MINI HOLIDAY FAIR Saturday December 17th 8:00am to 3:00pm Breakfast sandwiches & coffee 8-10 am Lunch: Grilled cheese & soup, cookie walk, crafts and bingo from 1-3 pm.
Please contact Donna Cahill, A.M., or Dave Frizzell, A.P. if you can help. Donations needed: homemade cookies, 6 crocks of soup, loaves of white sandwich bread, 4 pkgs. English muffins, 2 dozen eggs, 2 cases of water, hot containers for soup, plastic baggies and disposable gloves.
FROM THE SECRETARY GRAND CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIPS Grand Chapter Scholarships are in and must be submitted to the Educational Fund Board Secretary postmarked by February 1, 2012. Members of Mass. O.E.S. with 5 years continual membership and in good standing in the grand jurisdiction are eligible for scholarship, as well as their children, grandchildren, legally adopted stepchildren, nieces and nephews. Applications will not be accepted from anyone who has had two previously O.E.S. scholarships and must be full time students. ESTARL ( Eastern Star Training Award for Religious Leadership) applicants do not need Masonic or O.E.S. affiliation, but must be a legal resident of Massachusetts and entering their junior or senior year in a college majoring in theological studies, or an accredited seminary or divinity school and must be endorsed by an active member of O.E.S.
There are still several members owing 2011 dues. If a member has financial issues prohibiting dues payment, please contact the secretary. The names of members owing two years of dues, having been read at the previous meeting, and have being notified in writing, will be brought to the December meeting for suspension.

BILLERICA CHAPTER NO. 212 Instituted October 26, 1928 Constituted April 26, 1929 This Chapter took its name from the town, which in turn was named for Billericay, England.
