TO OUR SHUT-INS AND FAR AWAY MEMBERS
You can’t come out, so we’ll come in With this wee Valentine That’s bringing special thoughts to you In every word and line; BE MY VALENTINE!
If we can be of assistance to you, please call the Worthy Matron or Secretary. Their addresses and phone numbers are on the back page.
FROM THE SECRETARY Last call for donations to the O.E.S. Stamps! All money will be sent to Grand Chapter following the February meeting.
THE WEST The Meadows Lodge Masonic Breakfasts: Won’t you help by attending or working on them? They are held the third (3rd) Sunday of each month from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The next one is Sunday, February 19. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under the age of 7.
CALLING ALL MEMBERS In a couple of months we will begin a new year. Won’t you consider being an officer?
As you know, we meet the first Wednesday of each month between September and June, so there is little time required, UNLESS you choose to assist when help is needed on any of our fund raising projects. Service is more than paying Dues. It is also being personally involved in the active work of the chapter. Give Sister Aimee, Associate Matron a call at 525-1544 and volunteer to fill one of the offices in OUR chapter.
FROM THE EAST Sisters and Brothers, As we are approaching the end of another Eastern Star year, we look forward to a brighter future. Sister Aimee, our Associate Matron, is planning her year and is looking for officers to fill several stations in our chapter. We have a new Associate Conductress who will be stepping up to Conductress and we would like a member to fill the vacancy so there is someone following in the line.
This month is our Annual Memorial Service, so we invite each of you to attend and honor the memory of those members who passed away during 2011.
Jason and I would like to wish all of you a very Happy Valentine’s Day. May the love in your hearts emanate to those around you to make this world a better place.
In Star Love, Ruth and Jason
