FROM THE EAST
Brother Ron and I appreciate the support of our Sisters and Brothers as we begin a new year in the history of our Chapter. We have some ideas for the coming months, so please bring your calendars and we can set a few dates. As we welcome new members into our Chapter, it is our hope that they will find friendships, inspiration and satisfaction as they become part of this organization dedicated to Charity, Truth and Loving Kindness. As Mother’s Day approaches, may we all reflect on Star Point Electa who represents mothers, and raise our cups of charity to each other in sincere loving kindness.
We know that God will hear the prayers of his people on May 3rd, the National Day of Prayer, that he will strength and bless all the mothers on Mothers Day, May 13th, and that He continues to hold our fallen soldiers in His loving arms as we celebrate Memorial Day on May 28th, may each of these days continue to hold a special place in each of our hearts. We hope to personally welcome you to our meetings.
Please consider this your special invitation to attend.
Please let the Worthy Matron know of any joys or illness, so that we may send a card or make a phone call.
Dorothy Bradford Chapter is always happy to welcome members of other Chapters to their meetings.
Fondly and Fraternally, Cindy and Ron
DOROTHY BRADFORD CHAPTER NO. 135 Instituted September 18, 1912 Constituted March 24, 1913 Hingham The selection of this name for the Chapter apparently ahs reference to the early Pilgrim Dorothy Bradford. The name was suggested by Captain Littleton, who was one of those keenly interested in organizing the Chapter.
