In order to meet our 2012 expenses, our Chapter Dues need to be paid. If any member is having difficulty paying our dues, please contact the Worthy Matron or Secretary so the Chapter can assist you.
FROM THE EAST
The past month has been busy with the local visitations. I and Bill have been able to assist several Chapters for their Visitation; Bethlehem, Turners Falls and Mt. Toby. It is very interesting visiting other Chapters to see the rendition of our beautiful Initiatory work.
Our own Visitation was especially special as our son, Cameron, became a member of this beautiful, friendly order. We had many visitors that evening also. It was great to see everyone. I may be prejudiced in saying that our Chapter did an excellent job in the ritual work - the Optional Lecture given by Brother David Fournier, P.P., Grand Organist was outstanding.
If you haven't seen David give the Optional Lecture, plan on attending Corona Chapter, No. 205, East Longmeadow's Visitation on Saturday, December 10th at 2:00 P.M. Sister F. Ellen McKay, Grand Conductress and our own Sister Cheryl Ann Fournier, Deputy Grand Marshal to the Grand Conductress are the Officiating Officers.

This Chapter was Chartered by Brother Robert Macoy, Grand Patron of New York, in May 1873. By 1878, it was having difficulties and was dormant. On February 6, 1885, a dispensation was issued to members "desirous to resuscitating" the Chapter and the charter was signed on March 31, 1885. The early records of the Chapter were destroyed in a fire many years ago and it has not been possible to determine the reason for the selection of the name.
