Mount Burnet Chapter No. 119

Instituted October 27, 1908

Constituted May 3, 1909

At the time this Chapter was organized, a movement was started to the town to change the name of "Folly Hill" - a nearby drumlin - to Mount Burnet.  This movement proved  unsuccessful and the Chapter retained the name Mount Burnet, given to it by the founder, Ida M. Buck.
