The Lobster Trap has helped furnish our wonderful lobster for our Lobster Roll Sales at a very competitive price, and we would hope that our members would like to show their appreciation for their willingness to help us with our Ways and Means efforts. CONGRATULATIONS By the time this notice is mailed out to our members, our won Sister Natalie R. Jenkins (if all goes as planned) will have been installed as our new Worthy Grand Matron at the Grand Chapter Session held in Lowell on May 17th, 2008. sister Natalie has chosen (appointed) two of our Sandwich Chapter Members as Grand Officers in teh Crystal Stargazers Grand Family. Sister Sally R. Dietrich as her Grand Marshal and Sister Evelyn L. Norton as her Grand Star Point Electa. In addition, Sister Patricia J. Donovan has been asked to perform the duties of the Personal Page to the Worthy Grand Matron and Sister Janet B. Cofran has been appointed as the Fraternal Correspondent. A busy year ahead for these members and for Sandwich Chapter. Let's all work hard together!
FROM THE EAST Scott and I thought our first meeting went very well. I thought the entire Chapter had a great night and we look forward to many more. Sandwich Chapter No. 221 Instituted October 8, 1947 Constituted April 17, 1948 It is understood that this Chapter took its name for the famous Sandwich glass and also for the town where it was made for so many years. The town was founded in 1673 and was named for Sandwich, England.
